Some couples get engaged on a Saturday and, almost without pausing for breath they are out searching for a venue for their wedding bright and early on Sunday morning! It’s easy to get carried away with the very fact that “you are getting married” but by stepping back a little at this point will not only save you time and money but will give you the chance to think about your budget, the date of the ceremony, number of guests etc, etc, etc, the list is quite a long one!
In our experience we know that there are so many things to consider when planning a wedding it can seem overwhelming. So our advice is:
1. Consider the number of guests that will be attending the wedding.
The larger the number the bigger the hotel will have to be. You won’t want your guests standing outside because there is no enough space.
2. Consider the budget set aside for the wedding.
Most couples set a budget before investigating the cost of exactly what they dream of having. It is much wiser to find out costs, and then tailor your budget accordingly. In some cases Cinderella Coaches with white ponies may have to be forgotten, but at least you will discover that beforehand and so avoid disappointment later on. Your budget should be followed consistently. The budget should include the amount that is set for the hotel, food, drinks, flower decorations etc.
3. Consider the actual day of your wedding.
To ensure that you get the perfect place for your wedding you may also want to consider the actual day of the wedding. There are some hotels that are extremely popular and are usually booked every weekend that being when most couples want to get married.
Getting the right hotel might mean breaking his protocol and deciding to get married on a weekday, for a quiet mid week our romantic wedding venue in Bromley is absolutely perfect.
