Sunday 1st April was a great start to the monthly new Jazz nights at the Bromley Court Hotel , we had a great night sitting in the bar listening to Dave Silk and his Jazz band with many great musicians , some of our friends took the time to sample the hotels fabulous dinner menu , excellent value and extensive choice in a delightful surrounding of the air conditioned Garden Restaurant . I believe this was the first such event , with the aim of doing one a month , the next being Sunday 6th May 7.00pm – 10.00pm . The Wellington Wedding suite now finished

After three months of work The Wellington Wedding suite now finished , it is looking fabulous! Look at the photos on the Home page on our website . The lighting behind the top table and dance floor really give atmosphere , makes you want to dance . A big thank you to the designer Debbie and our Team of Sarah , Allyson, the builder Brian and many more who were involved .

If you like Jazz we are just starting a Jazz night on Sundays once a Month with the 1st April being the first date , full meal provided as our normal Sunday night menu ,but why not just come along and listen in our bar area . For more details see our Jazz side pages on our home page.

Wellington Room – Refurbishment Completion

We are very excited that the air conditioned Wellington Suite is nearing completion of its extensive refurbishment, we anticipate (fingers crossed!!) completion wil be the 24th February.

We spent a long time putting together the feel for this room and the Suite has been fully refurbished with new feature lighting , beautiful soft furnishings , dance floor with floor lights , Backdrop Voiles with lighting , and a feature bar with lit glass front panels. We think its going to look spectacular and we’ll post some pictures up as soon as we can so you can see it in all its splendour!

Also the Wellington Suite has an exterior patio which now has an Italian marble look with a decking feature, and the gardens are going to be planted to giving an array of colour, (not right now, as we’re not sure flowers get on too well with frost and snow.

All in all we think that this will be the perfect wedding , function suite

Christmas Marshmallow Puddings – RECIPE

Christmas Marshmallow Puddings are a cute little festive treat. Marshmallows are coated in Milk Chocolate and delicately decorated with White Chocolate and Glace Cherries to create the illusion of miniature Christmas Puds! Great as a Christmas Day treat or as gifts – everyone will fall in love with these little babies.Give it a go!

18 Large Marshmallows
300g Milk Chocolate (Melted)
100g White Chocolate (Melted)
Red and Green Glace Cherries (finely chopped)
Toothpicks
Makes 18
Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Natural Christmas Table Decorations

We quite often get asked for hints and tips on how to create the perfect table setting for your Christmas festivities. The perfect layout of course does depend a lot on the size of the table and the number of guests that you are going to have, but often simplicity is the key. Why don’t you have a walk in the woods and try and find some foliage that you can use, berries cones and pine are all great starting points, and they come for free. Then you can add a bit of sparkle by adding candles, baubles and other decorations that you have to create your masterpiece. Don’t forget to think about the sense of smell too… oranges and cinnamon are a classic Christmas combination.

By www.todichfloraldesign.co.uk – We were invited to design Christmas decorations for a private event in Central London. We decorated the banisters with holly wreathes. The silver urn was filled with helix berries, giant pine cone and some blue pine. The table arrangements were made of pine, pine cones, red, gold trimmed ribbon and cinnamon sticks.
